Financial Assistance

1. Applications will be considered on first come first served basis. The total number of students whom financial assistance can be provided is limited.
2. Your chances of getting financial assistance will increase if you decide to attend one of the three courses run by the Indian Laser Association on Nov. 29 and 30, 2010, at the conference venue. For details of these courses, please visit the NLS-19 website http://www.ila.org.in/nls19
3. The travel assistance will be for rail travel by Second Class sleeper, by the shortest route from your institute to and from Indore.
4. If you been sanctioned NLS registration fee waiver (with/without TA) by us to attend NLS-19 and you are also attending one of the three ILA courses, your boarding (food) for the two days of the ILA course will automatically be sponsored by the Indian Laser Association. No separate request is required.
5. The financial assistance does not cover the accommodation or the ILA course fee. These are to be borne by the student or student's institute/department.
6. Subsidized student accommodation (sharing basis) will be provided to all students on payment basis in the RRCAT Guest House / Colony, during the ILA courses and NLS-19. (Charge : Less than Rs.100 per day).
7. The application must be accompanied by a letter of recommendation from your Head of institute / Department or Ph.D. Guide. Without this, your application will not be considered.
8. Please send a scanned copy of the filled application form, duly certified by your Head of Institution / Department, or Ph.D. Supervisor, and the recommendation letter, to org_nls@ila.org.in

9. The last date of applying for financial assistance is October 31, 2010.
10. You will be intimated on your e.mail address about sanction of financial assistance. Hence your e.mail address in the form is mandatory.
