The association admits life membership for those having qualification of a graduate or higher degree in any branch of Science and Engineering with professional interest in lasers and / or laser related areas.

Currently the life membership fee is Rs. 1,000 for Indian residents.

For persons residing outside India, the life membership fee is Rs.5,000.

Corporate membership is Rs.10,000. This is open to firms dealing with lasers and related equipments / components. This membership was introduced from 1.1.2001.

Student membership has been introduced from 1.1.2002. This membership fee is Rs.250 for bonafide students. The membership is valid for five years, after which the student can become a full member on payment of difference (i.e. Life membership fee minus Rs.250)

Membership Fee can be paid through demand draft / account payee cheque, payable at Indore to "Indian Laser Association" mailed to the General Secretary - II at the address given below. For outstation cheques, please add bank charges [Rs.35 upto One Thousand Rupee and additional Rs.4.50 per Extra Thousand Rupee.]

To apply for membership, the fee draft/cheque should be accompanied by a covering letter giving details like : name, mailing address (with PIN Code), phone/fax #s, e.mail address, date of birth, academic qualifications, present position, awards received etc. Alternatively, you may dowload the form in .doc format or in .pdf format for membership request.
